Every single one of them is sub-optimal since none use the standard existing proximal infrastructure (the bed frame) to cantilever a surface or 2 out to the sides. The traditional bedside table is forever obsolete. Changing the outer shape does nothing if you keep the wasteful obsolete volume (the component of the “bedside table” concept that is forever obsolete). The water cooler one is the best though.
