As a gal and a tech lover, I couldn’t pass by this product without wishlisting it. Designed by David Stuebe of iSkelter, this make-up organizer doubles as a docking station for your iPhone, iPad and most phones and tablets. The position of the devices is such that you can even check news, weather or emails while getting ready for the day. What a great idea! The piece is chiseled and handcrafted from natural, eco friendly bamboo. The product’s smooth surface is glazed with a protective, stain-resistant sealant. Available for purchase here.

Swedish studio Resize Design created this clever storage system. Frustrated by traditional storage that often leaves unsightly marks on walls, floors and ceilings (terrible for a rental apartment), designers came up with the solution. They attached floating storage modules to a pillar. The pillar achieves its supporting capacity by being extended between the floor and the ceiling. No screws, nails or power tools are needed. And each of these constructions can serve as a room divider. Lovely! Available for purchase here.

Who would have thought that a humble radiator could be so stunning! Scaletta by Italian studio Tubes Radiatori draws on the vision of a ladder leaning up against a wall. It can perform in the bathroom, kitchen, or bedroom, using a simple electric cable as a power source. I especially like the little pulley that helps you to control the cable clutter. What a beautiful idea and a simple minimalist execution.

Choosing a sofa for a small apartment can be daunting. It has to be small enough to allow flow, yet big enough for much-needed relaxation. Well, clever folks at Fab might just pulled it off. The Flip sofa they recently launched is a compact and multifunctional item that can fit in most interiors. It has reversible cushions that allow you to alternate between minimalist and mid-century modern looks. But the biggest perk is the ottoman that flips to reveal a coffee table. What a great thought. Watch the video for a short demo. Available for purchase here.

You may have heard of cool and stylish Sabi pill cases and walking canes. The brand is now exploring the new horizons with their line of bathroom accessories, called Sabi Space. This 13-piece collection of interchangeable pieces revolves around the same peg design, which attaches to the tile via the 3M-like adhesive. Definitely something rental apartment dwellers would appreciate. The pieces twist or click via magnets onto pegs, which makes them easy to install and just as easy to uninstall. So, you are not stuck with the holes in your tiled wall and can change your arrangement if necessary. The Sabi Space line will go on sale in September. Check out the video after the break to see it in action.

Just wishlisted this simple yet clever desk organizer. Thanks to the 5 slots on top of the piece, it holds papers, letter, photographs and other papers and keeps them visible. Perfect for organizing the onslaught of correspondence that usually clutters desks. The holder for pens and other small accessories completes the setup. The Wood Block desk organizer is produced in France by l’Atelier d’Exercices from solid beach wood block (hence the name). Available for purchase here.

Zoo is a clever multifunctional object created by Madrid based studio MAYICE. The piece can be used as a stool, coffee table, magazine rack, modular shelving system or a multicolored bench. Lightweight and easily stackable, each of these elements can keep a balance without the need of screws or additional substructures. The collection is made of pinewood coming from sustainable managed forests. Zoo comes in green, orange, white and red.

French designer Paul Bellila found a beautiful way of bringing piece and calmness of nature into the urban home. He created a furniture collection that features integrated planters. These little islands of greenery decorate everyday items like coffee table, console, bench and others, enhancing the landscape of a city dwelling. The pieces are made from solid oak, the planters are made from elegant stoneware. They come in two colors, black and white.
