If you read this blog, you probably already know that I am an avid fan of the Tiny House movement. This next example of a tiny mortgage free dwelling is a beauty, filled with many elegant and clever space-saving details. The house, called ‘hOMe’, incorporates all traditional conveniences, such as two sitting areas, a bedroom, a kitchen, a dining table, a bathroom and lots of storage. All this goodness cost the owners only 33K to create. And thanks to solar panels and wooden stove, the utility bills are reduced to nearly nothing. What a way to break from the mortgage slavery… Check out more photos after the break.

This looks great. But where is the bathroom? And where do those stairs lead? Please provide more thorough photographs of these wonderful homes and places. I know you have linked from somewhere else, but maybe you should ask for more photos. We don’t ever seem to get the entire picture — pardon the pun. Thanks.

@hartley, the bathroom is in the first picture, behind the ladder up to the loft. You can click on the links Natalia provides in the post to get to the source, which often (and in this case does) have more/larger/detailed photos. I don’t think it’s fair to ask her to request more pictures or else these posts would take her forever to write. They’re wonderful for keying us in to neat things out there, then it’s up to us to dig deeper if we want more specific info.

@hartley, there’s a very detailed house tour on the homeowner’s website that you might want to watch. I don’t think I’ve ever come across such a thorough presentation.
